The East Grinstead Basketball Club has been running for over 25 years and in that time the Club has grown steadily in terms of performance and calibre of play. There are still a few founding members playing for the top team in the Club.

Originally the Club played in Division three of the Sussex Men's League and were promoted to Division one shortly after entering the League, where they became League Champions or close contenders for the title for a period of three to four years.

Based on this performance and their consistent high standard of play, the Club was promoted to the Sussex Premier League where they have stayed to this day. The Towers are now playing in the Men's Division one League and are previous winners of both the League and County Cup titles (1998).

In 1993 a Junior section was set up to compete in the Sussex Youth League, and this now operates as a Club in it's own right.
